1- Introduction
A slip knot ties the yarn to the needle.
2- Inverted U
Make an inverted U with the loose end of the yarn towards your dominant hand.
3- O
Bring the working end of the yarn over the loose end to form an O.
4- Pick
Make a clamp with your non-dominant hand’s index finger and thumb, go under the O and grab the working end of the yarn.
5- Insert Needle
Insert the needle into the loop formed.
6- Tighten
Tighten the loop around the needle by pulling both ends of the yarn apart.
